ABOUT THE ARTIST

Born and raised in Terre Haute, Indiana, self-taught award winning artist Becky Hochhalter has been

working in art related fields for 37 years.  

Becky works in a diverse range of mediums including murals, traditional commissioned paintings and drawings, digital paintings and illustrations and photography. She enjoys lending a creative eye to collaborative efforts, and has boundless ideas for expressing her artistic ability.

Working in graphic design for a Fortune 500 packaging company for 17 years has provided a wealth of knowledge with regards to managing projects, budgets and timelines. Becky has drawn upon this knowledge to complete many successful large-scale projects.  

Public art has become a mainstay of Becky’s career. She has created works in the public realm ranging

from monumental murals on two-story buildings, to  large-scale photography pieces printed on metal,

as well as three dimensional wall art and painted fiberglass sculptures. Becky now has over 50 public

works of art on display in 11 cities.
